The Watchman Ministry Banquet

Our ministry banquets serve several purposes: they provide a great environment in which we can fellowship with those that support our ministry so faithfully; they also provide an opportunity for us to expose many new people to our staff and our ministry; and finally, they help us to raise much-needed funds so that our work will continue unhindered.

We have been blessed to have several Churches, corporations, and individuals help sponsor these banquets in the past. If you would be interested in contributing to this years banquet either as a sponsor or a volunteer, please contact our office.

The 2004 Ministry Banquet at Lakeside Baptist Church was a big success thanks in large part to our banquet sponsors and those that sponsored our silent auction. 2004 Watchman Ministry Banquet

You are cordially invited to our Spring Banquet

The main speaker at this years banquet will be the President of Watchman, James K. Walker. James is a former fourth generation Mormon with over fifteen years of ministry experience in the field of Christian counter-cult evangelism, apologetics, and discernment. He has been interviewed as an expert on new religious movements and cults on a variety of network television programs including Nightline, ABC World News Tonight with Peter Jennings, and The News Hour with Jim Lehrer. He has spoken at hundreds of churches, colleges, universities, and seminaries throughout the United States and internationally.

In addition to our speaker, we will also be blessed by a mini concert from Christian recording artist, Marc Phillips; and we will hear testimonies from several individuals who have been impacted by our ministry.

However, the BIG NEWS for this years banquet is the addition of a silent auction. The auction will run concurrently with the rest of the banquet proceedings and will feature items and services provided by friends (individuals and businesses) of our ministry.

This is a great opportunity to have a wonderful night out filled with inspiration, a little humor, and good music, while at the same time providing much needed funding for this ministry.
