Freddy Edgerton

Youth Specialist

Freddy attended Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi where he studied Theology and Greek, and went onto the University of Alabama where he received the Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and German in 1981.

After graduating, Freddy completed the Management Training Program for Wal-Mart. He served Wal-Mart in various management positions until 1985 when he entered the securities industry, most recently having worked as the Branch Investment Specialist for the Birmingham office of Charles Schwab & Company.

Shortly after becoming a Christian in 1970, Freddy became involved with the evangelistic ministry T.E.A.M. (Teenagers Effective at Ministering). Through this association, he knew that God had called him to minister to youth. His love for church history, doctrine and Christian apologetics coupled with his intense concern for youth lead him to become part of Watchman Fellowship.

Freddy and his family are members of First Baptist Church, Pelham, Alabama, where he was licensed to the ministry.

Freddy has served in a variety of ministry capacities, including:
