Allan McConnell

Executive Administrator

Allan is a graduate of Sussex County Vocational-Technical School in Sparta, New Jersey majoring in residential, commercial and industrial electricity. After graduation, Allan held various management positions in the steel piping industry, and went on to build a successful career in the supply of metallic products to the nuclear power generation industry.

Specializing in quality assurance and technical services, Allan developed strong management skills, technical expertise, and business development experience. Throughout his tenure in the nuclear steel industry, he managed success-driven teams of engineers, technical professionals, sales representatives, and administrative staff. While working for Guyon Alloys, Inc., Radnor Alloys, Inc., and Consolidated Power Supply, Allan and his teams consistently increased product quality and company earnings. He remains active in industry through membership in the American Society for Mechanical Engineers and the American Society for Testing and Materials.

As the nuclear power industry began to downsize, Allan began to seek God's direction for his career and family. He prayed for an open door to a ministry position where he could use his managerial and developmental skills. Through a Bible study class being taught by Watchman Fellowship, Allan began to take an active interest in cult awareness and education, which resulted in his joining the local Advisory Board, and then full-time staff in the summer of 1996.

Allan and his family are very active in local ministries as well as Southern Baptist concerns. They are members at Green Valley Baptist Church in Birmingham.

Allan has served in a variety of ministry capacities, including:

• Adult Bible study teacher
• Family Care Minister (deacon)
• Member, board of directors and corporate officer for Covenant House (1995-1998)
• Member, Advisory Board for Watchman Fellowship (1996)
• Treasurer, Evangelical Ministries to New Religions
• Ministry Leadership Team at Lakeside Baptist Church
